Start: Pugey, Rue de la Maltournée near the Champ Fleuri restaurant.
(S/E) Follow this street for about 700 m to leave the village.
(1) At a left-hand bend, take the stony path on the right, go through the cattle gate and continue until you reach a paragliding launch site.
Cross the pasture straight ahead to take the path at the edge of the woods. Ignore the path leading straight up to the ruined castle, turn right and join Rue du Château.
(2) Head downhill to the right, then turn left at a right angle to reach the bottom of the Route de Levier, which runs through the village of Arguel.
(3) Turn left and then take the first street on the right, the Chemin des Pierres, which goes uphill. Follow this path, which turns right to join the Chemin de la Chassagne.
(4) At the signpost at the entrance to a field, turn left towards Chemin de la Chassagne. Continue along the road to reach the hamlet of the same name, taking in the views. Continue along this road until you reach a crossroads.
(5) Turn right onto the D104 and immediately afterwards right onto the D141 towards Pugey to return to the village.
(6) 700 m further on, take Rue de la Maltournée on your left to return to the starting point (S/E).
