Place Turenne in Turckheim. You can park in the small car park near the Turenne monument or along Rue des Tuileries.
(S/E) Turn left towards the Turckheim wine cellar, leave Rue des Tuileries on the right and walk past the cellar to the grape unloading area.
(1) Go straight ahead onto the path that leads to the forest, pass a cross and continue to the second path.
(2) Take the hairpin turn to the right and climb up to Eichberg. This scenic wine trail overlooks Turckheim, passes a viewpoint and a terraced reservoir before reaching the Col du Brand.
(3) Reach the cross and follow the path on the left that leads to Rue de l'Église.
(4) Pass the church and town hall, cross the road leading to Les Trois Épis and take Rue du Galtz to reach the Weidbach stream.
(5) Follow the path on the left that runs alongside the stream, cross the stream to reach a path.
(6) Follow this path to the left, which joins a small tarmac road. Continue along this road and quickly turn right at the hairpin bend to reach the panoramic Sommerberg path.
(7) Keep to the right and follow this scenic path overlooking Niedermorschwihr until you reach a fork.
(8) Turn right at the hairpin bend and head towards Niedermorschwihr via Rue du Vignoble.
(9) Continue right towards the village, then turn left onto Rue des Trois Épis. Turn right, then cross the road and take Rue de Bruyères. At the next junction, cross the road and take the wine trail opposite, which leads straight to Col du Brand.
(3) To avoid the road (D10.7), descend via the vineyard path which joins this road further down. Turn left onto the road to join the path on the right which descends to Turckheim and rejoins the road one last time. Cross it to take the Remparts (Kapellengraben) path opposite and follow it straight ahead to the starting point, Place Turenne (S/E).
