Departure from the car park at Frauenberg, on the Trois Épis climb on the D11, at the exit of a hairpin bend on the left.
(S/E) From the car park, take the path south down towards Turckheim. There is a fairly steep descent via a flight of steps. At the crossroads, follow the path on the right, marked with a yellow saltire. After passing some beehives, the path reaches a crossroads under the high-voltage power lines.
(1) Turn right towards the Turcheim aux Trois Épis road (D11). Cross the road carefully, take the path on the right, then turn right again and cross a car park.
(2) Take thesecond path on the left uphill, marked with a yellow triangle. After passing near an electricity pylon, the path leads to a forest road that quickly splits into two branches.
(3) Follow the left fork, marked with a yellow triangle, heading west, until you reach a very narrow path that branches off to the left and climbs steeply, marked with a green triangle.
(4) Ignore this path, which is the most direct route to the Obschel farmhouse inn, and keep right on the forest road until you reach the edge of the forest.
(5) Turn right onto the Sentier Louise, marked with a yellow ring. Walk along the pastures before returning to the forest by turning right. Continue to follow the Louise Trail (Yellow Ring) towards Trois Épis. The trail passes close to the village of Trois Épis and leads to a dead end that connects to the D11 (Rue Thierry Schoeré). Follow the road to the right for about 100 metres until you reach a crossroads before the right-hand bend.
(6) Cross to the left at a pedestrian crossing to join the Sentier des Liebschel trail, which starts between two houses. This leads to the road that descends from Trois Épis towards Niedermorschwirh (D11.2). Cross carefully to re-enter the forest and join the forest road known as Pavillon Foch.
(7) Continue left on this forest road. When you reach the path leading to the Pavillon Foch shelter, turn right to join the path marked with a yellow rectangle (GR®532). Follow it to the left to reach the Carrefour des Pèlerins.
(8) Turn right and return to the car park (S/E).
