Parking is available at the start of the track that begins on the D113.
(S/E) The walk begins on an open plateau. Simply follow the main track (eastbound), marked in yellow, which winds gently along.
(1) At the crossroads by a large shed, continue straight ahead.
(2) At the Jas de la Veuve crossroads, continue along the track to the right until you reach a fork.
(3) At the junction, turn right and walk to the orientation table and its viewpoint over the Étang de Berre industrial zone.
(4) Retrace your steps.
(3) Turn right. Ignore all the paths branching off to the right and left and join another track.
(5) Turn right and, after about 300 metres, first turn left then right to reach the clearly visible watchtower.
(6) Return to the last junction and continue right on the main track, ignoring all paths leading down to La Fare.
(7) At a crossroads with numerous tracks, turn sharply left onto a wide track. You will then find the yellow markings again.
Stay on this main west-northwest direction, ignoring the paths on the right and left. Continue until you come to a perpendicular track.
(8) Take this track to the right. Continue straight ahead on this track, which runs under beautiful pine trees.
(9) At a crossroads just before the track veers sharply to the right, turn left at an acute angle onto track LA 207. Continue straight ahead until you reach a slightly more populated area. Continue between a few villas and join a small road.
(10) Cross over and take the track almost opposite (a few metres to the left) which climbs to the right towards the monument to firefighters who died in the line of duty.
(11) From the monument, retrace your steps, turn right and pass the memorial.
(12) At the fork a few dozen metres further on, turn right. Stay on the main westbound path, leaving two paths on the left, and reach a perpendicular track.
(13) Turn left and rejoin the starting track at a cistern. Then turn right to return to the starting point about 500 metres further on (S/E).
