From the centre of Ille-sur-Têt, take the D2 towards Montalba-le-Château, then Trévillach and the Col des Auzines. Park in the car park.
(S/E) Descend carefully along the D2 (bends), cross the road and take the dirt track on the left. Follow this to the Cortal Bascou crossroads.
(1) Continue on the left track until you reach the road.
(2) Turn left, then immediately right onto the dirt track and follow it to its end at Roc del Gotier.
(3) Go up the track on the right to the pass.
(4) Turn left and continue to the summit of Roc de Curet.
(5) Continue straight on towards Coll de Guers (822 m).
(6) Descend the track on the right through the forest until you reach a crossroads.
(7) Continue on the track opposite until you reach the shelter.
(8) Follow the track on the right until you reach the crossroads.
(9) Continue straight ahead until you reach the Séquières plateau. Leave the path on the left to reach a fork.
(10) Leave the track and take the path on the left through the vegetation, which leads to a tarmac road.
(11) Follow this road to the left until it ends.
(12) Take the path in the meadow on the right that climbs towards the ruins of the chapel.
(13) On your right is the fortified house. After this, the path begins to descend towards the track.
(14) Turn left and follow the track to a three-way junction located about a hundred metres before a few isolated houses.
(15) Keep to the right to return to the crossroads you passed on the way up.
(1) Turn left and follow the track you took on the way up in the opposite direction to Col des Auzines (S/E).
