Park in the car park near the Saint-Eulalie lodge in Arboussols.
(S/E) From the car park, head east and turn left at the intersection onto Chemin de Saint-Eulalie.
(1) Once you reach a three-way junction, take the path on the right to reach an intersection about 800 m away.
(2) Continue straight ahead to reach the Chapelle Sainte-Eulalie (for the record, the original village of Arboussols was located near this chapel). Return to the intersection and take the track on the right. Follow it south-east and then north-east until you reach a junction of tracks.
(3) Leave the path that climbs to the left and continue straight ahead. Stay on the track, ignoring any side paths. Further on, you will come to the red and white markings ofthe GR®36(shared with the red and yellow markings ofthe GRP® Tour des Fenouillèdes).
(4) Take the double signpost on the right towards Marcevol. Further on, you will reach a junction where you should turn right onto the Campoussy path (still on theGR®36) to join the D35c road, which you will follow to the right until you reach a junction with a car park.
(5) This is where theGR®36and GRP® separate. Take theGR®36on the left, which will take you to the Priory of Marcevol.
(6) Return to the intersection.
(5) Take theGRP® opposite towards Arboussols on the Route D35c until you reach an intersection where you will leave this road.
(7) Leave the road by turning left (still on theGRP®). Stay on this route, which forms a loop before rejoining the Route D35c.
(8) Take the road on the left to the car park to end your hike (S/E).
's in the south and there's very little vegetation to shelter from the sun. The terrain is very rocky, but I'd still recommend it.
