Park in the car park by the church in Janvry.
(S/E) Walk past the church on your right, and go round the roundabout on the right to join Rue du Grand Cèdre (D40).
(1) When you reach the private driveway to Janvry Castle, take the path on the left towards the farmland.
(2) After the Remise de la Brosse, turn right under the power line. Gometz-la-Ville and its bell tower can be seen in the distance. Pass a path on your left, then take the small track on the right (marked by a cairn) to reach La Brosse.
(3) Cross the D40 and follow the Chemin de la Vallée straight ahead. 200 m further on, join the Chemin de Champreau, which takes you into the plain. Pass the Friches de la Vallée on the edge of the woods.
(4) At the ‘Bois des Bezelles 18’ marker, continue straight on along the edge of the woodland.
(5) At the ‘Bois du Chef 17’ marker, turn right onto the Chemin rural de Saint-Jean de Beauregard to Janvry: previously you could have gone straight on, but the path has become private, for reasons unknown.
(6) Once you reach the village of Janvry, follow Rue des Bezelles and then, at the next junction, turn right onto Rue des Genévriers, which takes you back to the starting point (S/E).
