Park at the Col de la Fausse
(S/E) Take the Chemin de la Milonière towards La Milonière and join thefirst path on the right.
(1) Follow this path uphill to reach a field. Walk along the right-hand side of the field until you reach a fork at the corner.
(2) Take the path on the right at the edge of the woods, heading towards the Bois du Barthélémy, and follow it along the contour line. Cross over to the other side of the ridge (elevation 654) by veering left. Continue, keeping to the left at the edge of the woods, until you reach the road leading to the hamlet of Les Jumeaux.
(3) Turn left and follow the road. Pass Les Jumeaux and, at the junction, continue right onto Chemin de Pierre Folle. Cross Les Jumeaux du Sud and head along Chemin du Soupa until you reach a left-hand bend (elevation 726).
(4) At the bend, take the dirt track that continues from the road. Follow it to the next junction (about 500 m) and turn left. At the next fork, turn right and continue to the road. Take this road to the left towards Le Soupat.
(5) At the entrance to Le Soupat, take the hairpin bend to the right, follow it for 100 m and turn left onto a poorly marked path before entering the woods. Walk downhill for about 100 metres until you reach a fork.
(6) Continue to the left and take the path that runs along the old aqueduct and follows the contour line to the Ruisseau de la Milonière, ignoring the paths branching off to the right and left.
(7) Just after crossing the stream, turn right (continuing straight on takes you back to the Jumeaux du Sud). At the next fork, take a sharp right-hand bend towards Les Malettes and rejoin the Milonière at a wooden cross.
(8) Turn left and continue straight on to the Col de la Fausse (S/E).
