Péreille d'en Haut

There are numerous parking options near the Chaubets tennis courts.

(S/E) Take the road that climbs to the right towards Péreille d'en Haut. It is tarmac and quite steep. After passing through a residential area, wind your way through the woods.

(1) Look for the path on the left that you will use on the way back and continue straight ahead until you reach the second "Feux de forêt" sign (Note: the sign has been removed, but the metal post remains).

(2) Leave the road and take the path on the right. Back on the road, turn right, pass in front of the Resistance memorial and reach Péreille d'en Haut. In the hamlet, cross over to take the road opposite, pass in front of the farm and follow the path that climbs westwards. Go to the top of the hill and admire the view southwards over the Tabe massif.

(3) Turn around and descend by the same route.

(1) At the sign (note: the sign has been removed, but the post remains), leave the road and take the path that descends to the right. Continue to follow the path that descends southwards and joins the main marked path at the bottom of the hill.

(4) Turn left towards the east. Pass through three electric gates, opening and closing them as you go. Join the tarmac road and continue to the crossroads.

(5) Turn left towards the basketball court and reach the crossroads with the Péreille town hall on your left.

(6) Take the road on the right, going around the boules court, and head straight to the car park (S/E).

(2) You can stay on the road as it connects, but it is less pleasant.

(1) Don't miss the sign, as it is on the left as you descend and is not easily visible in this direction. I have personally missed it many times! If the ground is very wet, you can go back down and return to the car park by following the same route as on the way up.

(3) Beautiful view of the Tabe massif.
