(3) Walk alongside the Bièvre, which has been ‘restored to its natural meandering state’. (9) As you pass, you’ll see a kennel for breeding and training guide dogs on your left; when you reach a wild hedge, take the grassy path on the right. At the end of this path, turn left to go round Fort de Buc, then continue to the right, taking a 90° bend, until you reach Avenue Charles Quatremare.
(10) Cross the avenue and turn left. You’ll reach a bus park. Towards the far end on the right, look out for a footpath; go down the four steps and immediately turn left for 80 metres, then continue to the right along the garden fences at the edge of the woods for approximately 600 metres.
(11) Turn right into the Résidence Haut Pré through a green metal gate. At the second junction, turn left and stay on this main path (Allée Saute Vent, veering slightly left onto Place du Tricorne, then Allée Coupe Bise) until you reach Rue Georges Bizet and the fourth stud farm: Club Hippique du Haut-Buc.
(12) Walk past it and head down to the right along the Chemin de la Butte aux Vaches to the stud farm’s pastures. Don’t miss the Oak of Louis XIV on the left.
