Brogne loop

Between the Tarn and Dadou valleys, this is a beautiful hike in the hills of Parisot. On a clear day, there is a beautiful view of the Pyrenees at the end of Chemin de la Brogne. The hike is marked in yellow and maintained by the Association du Patrimoine de la commune de Parisot (Parisot Heritage Association).

A lovely walk in the Tarn countryside with a Tuscan feel. Beautiful views and two chapels to see along the way. Yellow signposts.

Official modification of the route between point (12) and point (13) with new signage. Do not take the path towards the Bruguière farm.
From point (12), follow the Sainte-Cécile road, pass the path leading to the farm but continue on the Sainte-Cécile road until you return to point (9).
From the point (9), turn right onto the Pébrines road.
When you reach the fork, take the right-hand branch.
Continue until you reach the point (13).
Giroussens ridge road

This short hike in the commune of Giroussens, near the Jardin des Martels, offers a series of beautiful views of Lavaur, Ambres and the Dadou valley.
Short loop around Giroussens

This short loop will allow you to explore the area around the town of Giroussens. During this hike, you will pass through the centre of Giroussens, allowing you to discover this medieval village. You can enjoy superb views of the Agoût and Dadou valleys. The hike also passes through the Giroussens forest, as well as near private forests: please keep your dogs on a leash.
Long circular loop of Giroussens and Saint-Anatole

This hike will allow you to discover the territory of the commune of Giroussens. Starting from the centre of this medieval village, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Agoût and Dadou valleys. After passing near Saint-Anatole, the route ends with a walk through the forest of Giroussens.
Short loop of the Crêtes de Briatexte

This is a lovely walk through the vineyards and fields of Briatexte, ideal in winter. Dotted among the valleys and hills are pigeon lofts and distant bell towers. The few sections of road do not detract from the charm of these rural landscapes.
Hillsides north of Rabastens

A pleasant route through the countryside north of Rabastens in the Tarn department. No major difficulties
The route crosses several other routes marked in yellow, so the different markings along the route should only be taken as a relative guide.
With the attached map, it is very easy to follow the route.

Through vineyards and valleys around Broze

Just a few minutes from the centre of Gaillac, this is a peaceful walk, ideal for a half-day outing. The circuit passes through unspoilt countryside where vineyards, meadows and small woods share the space. In this landscape of rolling hills and valleys, a few beautiful houses and wine estates dot the route. Not to mention the views of the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees on a clear day to top it all off.
Chemin de Fénols

This short loop is a nice family ride for those who prefer flat terrain. It alternates between roads and paths on the plateau east of Fénols.
Lake Laragou in Montpitol

A lakeside walk with no major difficulties. Best done in dry weather as the lake's banks are a little muddy.

The Lagarde Castle Trail offers unspoilt landscapes and lush greenery.
Running alongside rivers, crops and meadows, crossing streams and brooks, this enchanting trail will take you to the Vère-Grésigne leisure centre.
Walk around Mauriac

Starting from the small village of Mauriac, this short hike, accessible to all, takes you through valleys carpeted with vineyards and small hills offering views of the Gaillac plain and, on a clear day, the Montagne Noire and even the Pyrenees. A few beautifully restored dovecotes and some noble residences adorn the route.
Around Fayssac

Starting from the small village of Fayssac, this easy hike takes place in gently rolling countryside where cultivated fields, meadows and vineyards share the landscape. On a clear day, the view stretches as far as the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees. The route alternates between wide paths and small, mostly quiet tarmac roads, which do nothing to detract from the feeling of calm and tranquillity that prevails throughout.
Le Puech de Mourens

Treat yourself to a few hours walking along a path covered in dry leaves, admiring the landscape, crossing a stream and listening to the birds to refresh your body and mind. This trail offers a typical view of the Tarn hills, with old crosses, farms scattered along the way and beautiful dovecotes.

From La Vère to Saint-Hussou

A hike between vineyards and hills which enables you to discover a gently undulating landscape where pretty small villages and lovely dovecotes, enhanced by their careful restoration, nestle. The Château-Musée du Cayla which is located on the walk could also provide amateur historians and literature buffs with a splendid cultural stopover, following in the footsteps of Maurice and Eugénie de Guérin, whose correspondence is still famous.
Pastel Trail

Between Lavaur and Puylaurens, this circular route allows you to discover part of the Roman road, the hills of the "Pays de Cocagne" (Land of Plenty), the land of pastel, and the Château de Magrin.
Cestayrols hills circuit

Circuit around Cestayrols, a 12th-century fortified village, through the undergrowth and vine-covered hillsides.
The Albi hillsides from Cestayroles to Lincarque

A short, unpretentious walk, just to get some fresh air.
This trail will take you through a landscape of valleys and small hills planted with vines.
Along the way, the small rural heritage sites that dot the landscape also hold some lovely surprises in store: dovecotes, wash houses, etc.
Puycelsi Heritage Trail

From the Conservatory Orchard to the oak groves of La Grésigne, walkers will follow the path the entire way.
The Audoulou stream runs alongside parts of the route, providing welcome refreshment in summer.
Some effort will be required as the route alternates between ascents and descents with very few flat sections.

A short, gentle walk in the countryside and along the banks of the Girou, suitable for all.
In the footsteps of the Cistercian monks around Castanet

In ancient times, the monks of Bonnecombe Abbey, near Rouergue, used the "Chemin des Moines" (Monks' Path) to transport various products they grew around a barn south of Castanet.
This path crosses a landscape of groves, vineyards and traditional buildings that make up the hillsides of Albi.
This route is a shortened version of the official 21 km trail.
