Via La Belle Eau from Mortain-Bocage

Although "Belle Eau" is the name of a hamlet located at the northernmost point of this route, hikers will be amazed from the outset by the water gushing through the rocks in magnificent waterfalls. The route continues along wide paths, often bathed by runoff water from the various branches of the Cance, and ends on a high note with the panorama offered at altitude 314, famous not only for its small chapel but also for the battles that took place there in August 1944.

Notes

Panorama of the Petite Chapelle.
The orientation table has a distinctive feature in that it shows the south at the top, so the landmarks are reversed: the department of Ille-et-Vilaine is therefore at the top right in relation to that of La Manche, contrary to the usual view.

I would almost say to do the hike in reverse. Why? I would have enjoyed the magnificent setting of the waterfalls more. At the end of the hike, you tend to take more time to stroll around.
But that's just my opinion.

Very pleasant route, some sections on roads, good slopes 👌🏻
Signage is clear and consistent with the planned route 👍🏻
Warning ⚠️ a jogger who passed in front of us was bitten by vicious dogs at a place called "la lande de Beausoleil". The owners do not seem to take this seriously.

A very beautiful route, the course is varied and it was much less muddy than I expected. It is very busy around the waterfalls, but deserted afterwards.
Unfortunately, I couldn't follow the description. It was impossible to load. There was network coverage and the map loaded correctly. But nothing worked, no description.

Good evening,
Visorando is in no way responsible.
This is just my opinion, after hesitating several times, but this hike was very enjoyable.
If we have to give the maximum number of stars to each review, I don't see much point in doing so.
Kind regards

Hello co35490

A small clarification following your comment:
the ease of following the route should be assessed in relation to the description and not in relation to the signposting, for which Visorando is not responsible.
I would appreciate it if you could revise your rating accordingly.
Thank you in advance.

A very beautiful route with pleasant scenery, especially the waterfalls. It's a shame that the route is sometimes very poorly signposted.
