(S/E) Leave Place du Château heading south on Rue du Moulin Follier.

Very quickly, turn right onto Chemin de la Petite Cascade. Cross the footbridge, noting the Rocher de l'Aiguille on the left and then the Petite Cascade. At the end of the path, turn right and join Rue du Pont Bossard.
(1) Follow this road to the left for about 100 metres and continue right onto Rue du Moulin Richard. Before the first houses, follow a path to the left that passes near the Grande Cascade before reaching the D977.
(2) Cross and follow the protected path on the left. The road overlooks a branch of the Gance on the left and runs alongside the Abbaye Banche on the right.
(3) After crossing the Gance, enter Le Neufbourg. Cross it by following Route de Vire and cross the bridge overlooking the Voie Verte.
(4) Leave the departmental road by turning left and then immediately right towards Calvaire. At the junction, keep right on Chemin du Grand Clos. Pass under two high-voltage power lines and arrive at a crossroads at a place called La Daierie. Turn right until you reach a roundabout.
(5) Cross the Route de Vire with caution and take the next road on the right, then quickly turn left. Follow this path, which bends to the left, then to the right, and ends on a small country road.
(6) Leave the hamlet of Belle Eau on your right and continue along the road. Join theGRP®® des Crêtes du Mortanais.

Turn right. At a bend in the road on the right, continue straight ahead along a path and follow it when it turns right. Pass under the two high-voltage power lines again and cross the Greenway.
(7) Take the path opposite, which overlooks the Voie Verte on your right before veering away from it. Continue on theGRP®®. Cross the Ruisseau de Brefféland and, at La Pelterie, cross the D46. Continue opposite. The path climbs to the D157. Follow it to the right to Les Quatre Vents.
(8) Before the road splits in two, turn left and continue on the right. In the bend, continue straight ahead on a path heading south. Note the Rochers de la Montjoie on your left. The Chemin des Carrières ends on the Route de la Petite Chapelle (D487E1).
(9) Take a sharp left turn and then, after about 100 metres, take another sharp right turn towards the Petite Chapelle. Walk along a beautiful tree-lined avenue. When you arrive in front of the chapel, on your left is the memorial to the American soldiers who defended Hill 314 in August 1944.
(10) Go around the chapel on the left and walk to the orientation table behind it. There, you will enjoy a magnificent 270° view. Return to the front of the chapel and turn left. At the fork, continue to the right. Walk along the cemetery and then take thefirst path on the left, which leads to a road. Walk 50 metres to the right on this road and turn left into Rue de Versailles. After passing the hospital, the road ends at Rue de la30e Division.

(11) Walk 50 m to the right and follow Rue duXIIe Arrondissement to the left. Pass in front of the town hall, continue in the same direction down the steps and continue along Rue du Marché. Cross Grande Rue with caution and continue opposite along Rue du Bassin, which leads to the car park at the start (S/E).
