Most of this hike follows the Chemin des Bisses trail. On maps, particularly OpenStreetMap, it is marked as "Chemin des Bisses N°58" or "Col des Planches Vercorin". At each major junction, you will find signposts with the number 58 on a green background. View this image
(S) From the cable car station, return to the Route de la Péroua.
(1) Continue along this road for about 100 metres.
(2) Turn left onto Chemin des Rairettes and after about 300 metres you will reach a junction with Chemin des bisses No. 58 (signpost No. 58).
(3) Walk slowly along the bisse for about 5 km. Just follow the stream.
(4) Leave the "Bisse Vieux" at this point. Cross the road to Siviez (sign No. 58), and the path No. 58 continues on the left, heading south-east on the small road to Planchouet. After a hairpin bend, continue for about 200 m heading north
(5) Just before a restaurant in Planchouet, turn left onto a path that descends towards a stream. Follow the stream until you reach a sign for Grand Bisse de Vex.
(6) Here begins a new adventure: the Grand Bisse de Vex (pronounced Vé) is omnipresent until Veysonnaz. Continue until you cross a road.
(7) At the crossroads, keep right. The Chemin des Bisses No. 58 is always well signposted. Follow the bisse trail, which is always clearly visible, until you reach the Route des Clèbes.
(8) Don't leave the path No. 58, which branches off to the right. Pass between the first chalets of Veysonnaz.
(9) Leave the village road on your left and continue on the Chemin des Bisses No. 58 on a path overlooking the chalets of Veysonnaz. After crossing a road, follow the Grand Bisse de Vex again, almost to the cable car station.
(10) A few metres from the cable car station, you will arrive at your evening accommodation: Hôtel Magrappé (E).
