Le Bois Fichaux
This is a lovely nature walk close to the town of Mouscron. It is a countryside route on small tarmac roads with little traffic and on footpaths. You will discover the Château des Comtes, surrounded by moats, and the Martine Museum. You will stroll through the Bois Fichaux on the slopes of the Mouscron hill.
The Ramegnies-Chin circular route
This circular route takes you through the Scheldt plain between the two villages of Esquelmes and Ramegnies-Chin. It is a rural route along paths and small country roads. Take care when crossing the Tournai road. You will discover the pretty church of Esquelmes near the Scheldt, lined with trees, and the many calvaries and chapels. You will walk along paths lined with hedges and take small passages. At the edge of the Scheldt, you will see Mont Saint-Aubert on the other bank.

A short woodland hike in the heart of Wasquehal, to discover the Bois de Warwamme and the Château de la Fontaine (castle).
From Willems to Parc du Héron
Loop passing Lac du Héron in Villeneuve-d'Ascq and Forest-sur-Marque. This walk goes along the Marque river for a while and follows part of the GR® 121B.

The Comtesse garden in Wambrechies
At the start of this route, you can visit the magnificent park and garden of the Countess de Robersart, who lived at the château of the same name in the 19th century. This perfectly circular garden contains many listed medicinal and perennial plants.You'll also appreciate this remarkable marina on the Canal de la Deûle.The rest of the route is a leisurely stroll on asphalt through the Wambrechies countryside.

Saint-Médard Church via the Lys, Menin, Halluin and Wervicq-Sud
Start and finish at the car park of Saint-Médard Church in Wervik via the Lys, Menin, Halluin marina, Bousbecque and Wervicq-Sud.
This route is part of the Montagne route in Wervicq-Sud.
Wervik and Saint Médard Church via Wervicq Sud
Departure and arrival at the car park near Saint Médard Church in Wervik. Crossing the border on the Lys bridge. A passage is made at Wervicq-Sud. The path runs along the river to Chemin des Vaches, crosses the countryside of Bousbecque, Parc Dalle-Dumont, followed by crossing the border and the De Balokken nature reserve.
From one bank of the Deûle to the other
The walk follows the Canal de la Deûle, on the towpaths on both banks: La Madeleine to the east and Saint-André to the west. A mixed urban and nature trail between two bridges. Several information boards on the La Madeleine side. The trail is also quite popular with cyclists and runners on the La Madeleine side.
Mont de l'Enclus
Start at Café des Acacias, which has ample parking. The first part of the walk is on the GR® 122 before entering the forest. It is a lovely walk with benches and picnic areas. The path is very easy going with pine needles. Refreshments are available (with terrace) at Café des Acacias. A very pleasant walk in dry weather
The battle of Bouvines
A beautiful, varied and very natural route, especially the last 7 km.You can visit the church at Bouvines, with its stained-glass windows recounting the battle of the same name, the outcome of which contributed to the creation of France.

A pleasant route from Sainghin-en-Mélantois, passing through Gruson and then Bouvines. Cross the Bois de Noyelle, go around the Bois de l'Infière and return via theGR® in Val de Marque.
Around Bachy
This route between the Bachy plain and the Belgian border allows you to discover Mont Saint-Aubert in Belgium. You will discover part of the route used by "Monique", a member of the Resistance who helped airmen escape between France and the town of Rumegies in Belgium.
Cross-border trail - Bachy Rumes Bachy
A walk between France and Belgium in the Pévèle and Hainaut plains. This trail crosses the path of Monique, a Resistance fighter who evacuated Allied pilots who had fallen during the war. It also gives an idea of the work of the customs officers who guarded this border and the tricks that smugglers could use to thwart their surveillance.

From Fretin to Sainghin-en-Mélantois, along the Marque
A circular loop that is almost a round trip, passing from the Warlet Marshes (Fretin) to the Bonance Marshes (Péronne-en-Mélantois) and arriving at the Bois de la Noyelle (Sainghin-en-Mélantois) along the Marque.You will walk along well-maintained paths and quiet roads through the woods and along the marshes. In the right season, you can observe the flora and fauna as well as an impressive willow sculpture (Eldorado Lille 3000 Festival). Crossing of two busy roads.
Between marsh and pasture around Fretin
A hike that begins by circling the Marais de Péronne, then moves on to the hamlet of Maresqueldes and ends at the Marais du Warlet. This loop offers diverse landscapes, between water (the Marque (stream), marsh, pond), and fields and pastures. It runs alongside two small roads, otherwise it's all on footpaths.On the program: observation of marsh birds, fish in a fishing pond and a variety of native wildlife.
Around Fretin and Avelin
A walk that can be enjoyed in wet weather, with little mud and very quiet roads.As you leave Pont Thibault, you'll come to the cobblestones of the same name. They are used by the Paris-Roubaix cyclists in early April.
Around Ennetières
Walk around the village of Ennetières along the TGV (high-speed train) line and then the runways of Lesquin airport.Cobblestones and tarmac, ideal when the dirt roads are too muddy.
Loos trail via Wattignies and Emmerin
Just a stone's throw from Lille, an easy stroll through unspoilt countryside, passing through the Emmerin wellfields. The end is a little urban before entering the leisure and nature park.

Passendale through the Passchendaele battlefield
Departing from the car park of Passchendaele Church, this walk takes you across the Passchendaele battlefield along the junction points. The phrase "across the Passchendaele battlefield along the junction points" refers to the Sunflower Walk, created in 2024 on the sites of the former battles in Passchendaele, Belgium. This route guides you through the historic battlefield by following junction points (or connection points), linking major places of interest such as Tyne Cot Cemetery and other First World War heritage memorial sites.
On the banks of the Nimy Canal in Peronnes
A walk along the towpaths of the new and old canals from Nimy to Péronnes.
At the start, you can admire the two giant locks that have replaced the eight locks that you will then pass as you walk down the old canal.
Admire the old lock houses on the old canal.
However, be careful in strong winds between points (8) and (9) as the trees are fragile and it is best to avoid this section.
The entire hike is on tarmac or paved paths.
