Park your car in the square in front of the church in Montjavoult. Don't miss a glimpse of this massive 11th and 12th century church. The door has been replaced by a gate so you can see inside.
Take Rue de la Mairie to the left of the church. After the town hall, at a fork, continue on the left-hand road towards the cemetery. Pass the cemetery and enter the woods on the same path. At the exit into the fields, continue along the grassy path until you reach the junction with the D6.
(1) When you reach the road, turn left for a few metres, then turn right onto another road and continue for about 100 metres. Then take the path on the left towards the west. Follow this path until you cross the D157. Take the path opposite on the other side of the road, turning right immediately and then left. Continue along the grassy path until you come to another small road.
(2) Turn left and then right and take the path that continues in the same direction as the previous path. Follow it until you reach a semi-buried water tower where you will find theGR®125, which you will follow to the end (red and white markings).
(3) Take theGR®125to the left and, after a while, walk along the edge of a wood. After the wood, turn east and end up on a small road lined with houses. Follow it to the Carrefour de Pallemont.
(4) Go down the street to the right towards Parnes. Continue to the church, which is worth a stop.
(5) Take the road to the left of the church, which passes in front of the school. Where the road forks, take the road that climbs to the right and pass in front of the cemetery.
(6) At the corner of a small wood on the left of the road, take a grassy path on the left, heading east. After a while, you will come to another path: take it on the left. Cross a small road and head towards a fairly large group of old buildings almost opposite: the Moulin de Chaudry.
(7) Don't miss a peek into the courtyard of this impressive farmhouse. Follow the small road that runs alongside these buildings and, at the end of the hamlet, take the path that branches off to the left towards the woods. Follow this path through the woods for a while until you reach a crossroads where three paths meet.
(8) Turn right and then immediately left. Follow this path until it becomes a paved road and returns to the church square.
