Around Montagny-en-Vexin

There is a small car park at the starting point in front of the primary school.

(S/E) The primary school is on your right. Walk a few dozen metres and turn right onto Rue des Grès Valois.

(1) Turn right onto Chemin d'Alincourt, which is paved at the beginning and then becomes a dirt road. Continue until you reach a road.

(2) Turn right and follow the tarmac road. Then turn right again onto Rue des Fauvettes.

(3) Carefully cross the D15, then the hamlet of Valécourt and climb up to Chemin aux Ânes at the edge of the hamlet.

(4) Turn left onto this path, go through a wood and you will arrive at the GR® 125.

(5) Follow it to the right until the next crossroads.

(6) At the end, turn right then immediately left and continue towards Montjavoult.

(7) Leave the cemetery behind you and continue along Rue de Bauves.

(8) In the centre of the village, take the road on the right. It then becomes a path. Continue until you reach a path on the left.

(9) Turn onto this path. Be careful, as the path is not always very visible. It is quite damp, so watch your step as there are a few holes that are sometimes hidden. You will come to a road.

(10) Cross it and continue along the path until you reach a tarmac road.

(11) Follow it to the car park (S/E).

Nudist hikers may wish to bring a "skirt" or sarong to cover themselves in case they encounter clothed hikers or locals.
