Park in front of the Espagnette lock.
(S) Cross the canal and the level crossing, join the D813, take it to the right for about 100 metres, then turn left onto theGR®65in a valley straight ahead for about 1.2 km (towards "Pinete").
(1) About 2 km after this climb, take the path on your left. You will climb towards the "ridges", passing cherry orchards, Chasselas vineyards, peach trees and almond trees.
(2) Take a road lined with beautiful properties. At the crossroads, follow the road to the left, still following the white and red markings (doubled by yellow markings).
(3) Take the path downhill. It is quite steep.
(4) You will then come to a road. Follow it for about 100 metres. Turn right, then immediately left onto the well-marked path and climb up towards Boudou. It is steep at this point.
(5) Cross the village and go to the orientation table to enjoy the view. Return to the road that descends, then take a small path that branches off to the left, marked in yellow, and descend to the D81.
(6) Cross the railway line and the canal and turn left. The return journey will be along the canal to the starting point.
(7) You will be walking between the canal and the Garonne, which is canalised, and near the mouth of the Tarn (E).
A very pleasant short walk. Impossible to find the yellow-marked trail to descend from Boudou to the canal
