The starting point is at the Talange socio-cultural centre.
(S/E) The walk starts in the streets of Talange, following the signs, heading south to the bank of the canal connecting the old factory.
(1) Cross the canal via a footbridge and follow the bank to the left to reach the Moselle navigation canal.
(2) Cross over the canal and follow the bank southwards to the Talange lock.
(3) From there, continue straight ahead and follow the eastern bank of the canal along the Greenway.
(4) Pass under the Hauconcourt bridge and continue straight ahead along the canal.
(5) Pass under the A4 motorway and continue to the Argancy dam, staying on the Voie Verte.
(6) Leave the Voie Verte and turn left to cross the Argancy dam. Immediately afterwards, turn left and continue walking along the bank of the Moselle. Pass under the motorway and railway line again and continue to the Joncquières industrial estate in Ennery, just after the motocross track.
(7) Turn right, then left before the roundabout to cross the area towards Ennery.
(8) At the traffic lights, cross and turn left towards Ay-sur-Moselle. Continue to the roundabout and cross the four-lane road again. Follow the cycle path to Ay.
(9) Take the first street on the left, Rue de Metz, and follow it to the roundabout.
(10) Turn left onto Rue de la Moselle (D55).
(11) Take Rue des Fleurs on the right, then Rue des Lilas on the left to reach checkpoint 4
on the day of the public walk. Join Rue de la Moselle and follow it to the dyke.
(12) Take the path leading to Moulin d'Ay, to the right of the D55. Follow it to the Moselle bridge and cross it.
(13) After the bridge, turn right onto Route d'Hagondange and follow it, passing in front of the Martin Pêcheur restaurant, until you reach the canal.
(14) Cross the canal and follow the west bank of the canal on the left until you reach Talange.
(15) When you reach the A31 motorway bridge, turn right and pass under it.
(16) Upon entering Talange, take the first street on the right, Rue Auguste Delaune, to the end, pass through Rue Maurice Baquet, and walk along the football field to the hall where you started ::S/E:.
