Start from the car park at Kervido cemetery.
(S/E) Leave the cemetery car park, which is closed by a gate, turn left onto the road leading out of Lanester (signposted) and reach the first signpost for “le Sentier de la Goden”. Continue for a few metres along the path running alongside the road.
(1) Turn right to enter the marshland (sensitive natural area). Note the sign indicating the recommended alternative route during the hunting season (15 September to1 March, on Thursdays, Sundays and public holidays). Follow the well-maintained boardwalk that runs alongside the marsh. This first section features three information boards: the pond, the reed bed and the salt marsh.
Join the alternative route for the hunting season on your left, continue under the canopy of trees and take the footbridge to reach the D194.
(2) Cross the main road carefully in two stages (central reservation) and follow the cycle path on the left to cross the Pont de Bouc.

At the end of the bridge, turn right and rejoin the path running alongside the Ruisseau du Plessis, which was hidden in the Marais de la Goden. This path runs alongside the mudflat and the stream (information board about birds). Continue along this path, bordered on the left by meadows where horses and ponies regularly graze.
No markings
(3) At the fountain post, turn left away from the edge of the estuary and head up a wide path, passing the wash house situated slightly below, then continue along a short stretch of gravel road. You’ll emerge onto a main road almost opposite two shops: “Atelier de pain” and “Pizza Bella”.
(4) Cross the street and climb the steps opposite, which lead into a passageway between the houses (this is not marked on any map but is visible on the satellite view when zoomed in fully). You’ll emerge opposite the street signposted Chemin de Parc Ar Groez and turn right.
(5) Turn left into Rue Saint-Guénaël and follow it downhill to the small chapel of the same name near the Lanester water sports centre. Ignore all side streets and cul-de-sacs. Head down to the shore for a view of the Pont du Bonhomme bridge spanning the Blavet.

(6) Retrace your steps, go round the sailing centre (information panel about the chapel and the fountain), follow the small uphill street and, at the end, continue along the coastal path. At the first wooden staircase on the left, you can make a short detour down to the shore to reach the fountain a few metres to the left.
Retrace your steps and continue along the coastal path, which gradually offers a sweeping view of the Pen Mané harbour, where the Blavet and Scorff rivers meet.
Continue uphill, along the edge of the woods, following the Ruisseau du Plessis, a small tributary of the Blavet, until you reach Rue de Pen Mané. Cross it carefully and follow the grassy strip to the left (view of the Ruisseau du Plessis, a landscape that changes with the tides).
On the left, you can see a large building which was once the Plessis mill, destroyed by fire in 1933 and converted into rental accommodation in 1960
No signposting
(7) Turn right along the right bank and come out onto the cycle path.
Continue along this path on the right through the woods overlooking the old railway line. Turn left then right to descend via a wide sunken path onto the D194.
(2) Cross the main road carefully in two stages (central reservation) and turn right then left to begin the second part of the Tour du Marais de la Goden. Follow this route through a wooded area which offers a more obscured view of the marsh, which you should keep on your right at all times, ignoring all the paths branching off to the left.
Reach the road and turn left to return to the car park at Kervido cemetery (S/E).
