Laviale (hamlet of Castans) - Cayac car park (alternative parking available below the cemetery).
Markings: 2 lines (yellow-green) for the Panoramas Circular and 1 line (yellow) for the Castans Streams.
(S/E) From the Cayac car park, located above the cemetery, take the Pompidouira path. You will reach a fork 400 m further on (before a reservoir).
(1) Take the track on the left, which winds several times before joining the Route Forestière des Douze 2 km further on.
(2) Follow it to the right for 3.3 km along long hairpin bends, between rocks and conifers. You will reach an inverted Y-junction.

(3) Turn right onto the Route Forestière de Peyremaux. After 600 m, you will reach an intersection.
(4) Take the path on the left, which is closed to all traffic except authorised vehicles (sign and barrier). Cross a stream, then follow a curve through a deforested area of the Soulanes de Nore National Forest. After passing the barrier on the opposite side, continue for another 15 m.
(5) Look for a straight path on the right-hand side of the slope to get closer to the sources of the Clamoux by descending northwards towards the source of a stream.
(No indication on the IGN map, but the path is located on the right bank on the OpenStreetMap hiking map).
The balcony path offers a remarkable route to the Peyremaux forest track, which you already took at the other end.
(6) Follow it to the right for about 500 m.
(7) At the start of a stream, turn left onto the Chemin de la Goutine. Pass the ruins of the same name as you leave the national forest. Make a wide turn before heading north and coming to another fork.
(8) Turn sharply right and make a loop, passing other ruins. Descend towards the south-east and reach the Goussatière crossroads.
(9) Turn right onto an old path lined with low stone walls. Pass a ruin at a crossroads and continue straight ahead (path not shown on the IGN map). You will arrive near an isolated dwelling. Turn right onto its access path and descend to the Cloutels bridge

(10) Cross the bridge consisting of a slab over the Ruisseau des Cloutels. Turn south and arrive at a place called La Pompidoira
(11) The path branches off to the left under the houses and the access road. Cross a stream and pass by a cross before finishing the descent towards the south.
(12) Return to the tarmac road on the left, via Chemin de la Boria, to Laviale. Turn right, pass in front of the wash house before the church. Pass the town hall, take the ramp above the cemetery and return to the car park (S/E).
