Park in the car park of the Servigny-lès-Sainte-Barbe community centre.
Note: It is also possible to do this route starting from the centre of the village of Failly.
This route is numbered 5: Les Queulots and is marked with yellow rectangles.
(S/E) Take Rue de la Corvée towards Poixe until you reach the junction with Rue des Marronniers, where there is a fountain.
(1) Turn left and continue until you reach the junction with the D3. Turn right onto the D3, the road to Bouzonville.
(2) Cross it, taking great care as it is a dangerous road. Take the path opposite towards the military cemetery, leave it on your left and continue along the path. Then turn left twice at 90° to reach Failly and the crossroads with Rue du Queulot.
(3) Turn right, walk past Saint-Trudon Church, pass the town hall and then the school, and continue along Rue de Vrémy. Continue on, enter the village and follow Rue du Général Ardant, then pass a Y-junction with a wash house in the centre of the village.
(4) At the wash house, turn left onto Rue du Pont de la Chance, then at the end of the road, continue along the downhill carriageway. You will reach a right-angled crossroads.
(5) Leave the road and take the slightly uphill path opposite to the next signpost, where you will rejoin theGR®5F.
(6) At the signpost for "La Grande Commune", turn left onto the red and white markedGR® trail, which is also part of the Way of St James, recognisable by its blue and yellow scallop shell markings. This section follows the old railway line, passing the former Failly station. Reach the crossroads at the bridge over the railway line. This allows you to continue on circular loop No. 4, Le Chemin de la Reine, via a 1.4 km link.
(7) Leave theGR® here and take the street on the left. Pass in front of the cemetery. Stay on this street, turning right at the next crossroads. Continue along Rue de l'Ancienne Gare and return to the crossroads with Rue du Queulot that you passed on the way there.
(3) Opposite, take the same route you took on the way there to return to the car park of the Servigny-Les-Sainte-Barbe community centre (S/E).
