The starting point for this stage is at the Les Pontis bus stop (Bus 451 Sierre-Vissoie).

(S) From the bus stop near the Relais des Pontis inn, heading north, leave the car park and cross the road with caution. Look for the start of a fairly narrow path on the right. Start the climb until you come to a wider path coming from the right. (Randonneur sign)
(1) Heading east, continue along a fairly steep forest path. Cross the small road to Soussillon five times. Pass very close to a hairpin bend and come out onto the road to Soussillon as you approach the hamlet.
(2) As indicated by a yellow arrow, take the Chemin de Pramin to reach the centre of the hamlet of Soussillon. You will come to a sign indicating Chandolin 1h50.
(3) Continue the climb, which remains steep, until you reach a crossroads with another sign for Chandolin (altitude 1,492 metres).
(4) Turn right towards Chandolin. The slope gradually becomes gentler. Continue until you reach a suspension bridge.
(5) Cross the ravine safely and continue walking through the forest, at times along the edge of deep ravines. You will come to another sign for Chandolin.
(6) Shortly afterwards, a sign indicates a short section with a risk of falling rocks. Walk along the cliff and, after a bend, you will see the first chalets of Chandolin. Come out onto a small road and follow it to the centre of Chandolin.
(7) Take Chemin de la Raye on the left and join the Plampras road. Continue to the ski lift stations. Pass the first one (Tsapé) and go to the end of the car park at the second station (Rotzé) to find the start of a path.
(8) Take the Route du Gazon until you reach a hairpin bend. Leave this road and take the path that continues on (signposted Saint-Luc). At the crossroads at an altitude of 1882 metres, turn right (signposted Saint-Luc). Continue until you cross the Route de Tignousa.
(9) Cross the Tignousa road and stay on the path heading south. Follow the various signs for Saint-Luc and join the Chemin de la Fortoûna until you reach the entrance to the village of Saint-Luc.
(10) Take the Tsarrire path down to Rue du Vieux Village. Take the stairs back to Place de l'Église and the Grand Chalet Favre hotel, your accommodation for the day (E).
