Description of the walk

To get to the starting point, from La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar, take Rue de l'Église and climb the small road to the car park located before the hamlet of Les Portes.

(S/E) From the car park, continue along the road, cross the hamlet of Les Portes and, after about 100 metres, you will find the start of a path leading down to the left.

(1) Take this path and descend to the stream. Follow it along the left bank, then cross the Roman bridge.

(2) At the end of the path, turn left and follow the stream on the right bank until you quickly reach a barrier preventing you from continuing on the path due to a landslide.

(3) Turn around and follow the same route back to the car park after the hamlet of Les Portes (S/E).
