Park in the car park along the main road, near the village hall in Vintrou.
The route is well signposted overall.
Yellow signposts
(S/E) From the town hall, head towards the church. Turn left at the first street at the foot of the church. A signpost is located on the retaining wall of the church garden. Walk along the cemetery and follow the road to the end. After passing over a large water pipe and arriving at the reservoir (on the left), the road gives way to a wide gravel track. Note that from this point onwards, the route climbs continuously to Lac des Saints-Peyres, with a slight descent at Sagne Peatland, until you approach the Arn.
At the clearing, continue straight ahead, heading north. Ignore the next junction and continue on the track. At the next junction, with several branches, leave this track and take the dirt track that continues straight ahead to the north.
(1) At the road, turn right and go straight ahead at the next crossroads. Pass Sagne Pomié. Turn left at the first road. After 100 m, enter the woods via the path opposite. Near the Arn, the path runs alongside it and crosses a small waterfall.
(2) Waterfall and passage over a beautiful new wooden footbridge. At the crossroads, head straight ahead and pass the metal chicane to climb up to the dam. View of Lac des Saints-Peyres.

(3) Cross the bridge over the dam. At the end of the bridge, climb up the path opposite, heading to the right. At the next junction, take a sharp right turn. Follow the marked path, ignoring those on the left.
(4) At the clearing, turn right. Continue, ignoring the two paths that cross on the right.
(5) Take the third path you come to, to descend along the Arn. Walk along the Arn, in the Bosc Crémat, taking the time to admire the Mediterranean landscape, and approach the water. Further on, moving away from the water, the path climbs up the scree and arrives at a clearing.
(6) At the clearing, turn right. When you reach the road, turn right and continue for 200 m, then turn left onto the next path. Turn right again at the road, then left onto the path and finally right onto the gravel track. When you reach the tarmac road again, follow the path opposite, slightly to the right.

(7) Leave the red and yellow markings by turning right. Follow the path to the D53, turn right towards Vintrou.
(8) Continue along the road, ignoring the signposts. Ignore the climb on the right to try and catch a glimpse of the Gorges du Banquet a little further on.
After about 400 m, find the entrance to the path leading to the Gorges du Banquet viewpoint * (see practical information section)
(9). If the passage is still closed, continue along the road.
(11) At the open iron cross, turn left onto the path parallel to the road, ignoring the track that crosses it. At the entrance to the village, follow the marked path to the left of the stone cross to return to the main road and your car (S/E).
