(S/E) From the village square, at the wash house, follow signpost no. 8.
(1) At the junction with the Promenade du Four à Chaux, take the road to Suze-la-Rousse almost directly opposite. Keep left at the Fork in the road.
(2) Carry straight on. At the four-way junction, do the same. Further down, turn right onto a track then follow a single track downhill to the left.
(3) Caution: at the road, take a path through the woods on the left. You’ll come out onto the D218; head straight on.
(4) Turn left and tackle a long, fairly difficult climb (rocks and natural steps). You’ll rejoin the road to Suze-la-Rousse.
(2) Turn right, then left onto the Chemin des Buisses, and right again to take a technical path. At the top, turn left.
(5) Caution: turn right onto a path running between the houses. Follow signpost no. 8 and cross a pine forest.
(6) Caution: at the crossroads, turn left and do the same at the next crossroads. Follow signpost no. 8 and veer left onto an uphill, stony path.
(7) At a junction, turn right. Climb a path that is sometimes technical. Follow the markings through the undergrowth. The path winds with a series of bends to the right and left.
(8) Cutacross theGR®® trail. Continue over the stone slabs and up a steep climb near the ruins of Barry Castle.
(9) At Les Caves Cathédrales, continue along the road. Further on, turn right onto a path through the holm oaks.
(10) Further down, at a junction, take the path on the left which leads further on to a small road.
(11) Caution: turn left. Head back up the D218 then, at the junction, follow a technical descent to the right. Return to the starting point (S/E).
