Departure from the car park located about one kilometre south-east of the Cornée du Der campsite. Park near the Lac du Der-Chantecoq dyke.
YellowPR® markings.
(S/E) Take the dyke heading south-west and turn right immediately after the barrier at 900 m.
(1) Continue straight ahead along the forest path, passing the harbour and boats. Turn right at the road. Continue for about 200 metres.
(2) Turn left and follow the yellow markings in the forest for 800 metres.
(3) Turn left onto the small road and continue straight ahead for 300 metres.
(4) Just before the crossroads, climb up to the right onto the dyke and continue along the cycle path and theGR®14Bfor 2 km.
(5) About 50 metres from the barrier, turn right onto Route Forestière Saint-Laurent for 1,500 metres and you will come to a blue barrier.
(6) At the barrier, immediately turn right onto the path until you reach the Route Forestière des Mares.
(7) Follow the markings for 2000 metres until you reach the Route Forestière des Mares again and turn right.
(8) At the crossroads just after the bridge, take the path opposite and follow it for 600 metres, then turn left and climb the path for 150 metres, then turn right onto a mountain bike single track and continue straight ahead for 1 kilometre.
(9) Turn left and after 100 metres on the road, turn left and head for the car park (S/E).
A superb walk through the woods, passing by lovely ponds.
