Sainte-Livière circular via La Lampe

On leaving Éclaron, head towards Sainte-Livière. Just after crossing the Canal d’Amenée bridge, take the first road on the left and leave your car in the dirt car park between the D24 and the bridge over the Blaise.

(S/E) Follow the Route Forestière des Mares southwards to the first junction.

(1) Turn right onto the Chemin d’exploitation du Pré Jossemont and follow it until you reach the bridge over the Canal de Restitution de la Blaise.

(2) Turn right without crossing this bridge to follow the track that runs alongside the canal and joins the Route de Champaubert-aux-Bois.

(3) Turn right, cross the bridges over the two branches of the Blaise and enter Sainte-Livière. Join Rue de Sainte-Libaire next to the war memorial, turn left then right at the second junction to follow Ruelle des Loups and come out onto the D24.

(4) Cross at the pedestrian crossing, take the road opposite to reach a three-way junction marked by a wayside cross. Follow the right-hand track and continue to a junction of several farm tracks at a place called Le Fuget.

(5) Take the path on the right and follow it straight on until you reach the small Route de la Neuville-au-Pont (archery club).

(6) Turn right and follow this road until you reach a small bridge spanning the ditch on the right. Cross the ditch and follow the path to the Croix des Aviateurs.

(7) Turn around and rejoin the route on the right. Cross the D24 with care and you will immediately reach the car park (S/E).
