The village of Jorge Carrasco

In Le Menoux, park at Place du Général Jean Pascaud (war memorial).

(S/E) Head towards Notre-Dame Church and visit it. On leaving, take the street that runs alongside it on the left. At the intersection behind the church, turn left, pass Allée du Bourgoin and arrive at the Jorge Carrasco Workshop.

(1) Continue along the street (after visiting, if you wish). At the intersection, turn left, then left again at the next crossroads to return to Place du Général Jean Pascaud (S/E).

Very easy walk, no equipment necessary except, perhaps, a camera.

In 1968, the Bolivian artist moved with his wife and five children to Le Menoux in France. On his own initiative, he painted the frescoes in the church of Le Menoux: 8 years of work, covering an area of 400m².
