Park on the Place des Écureuils in Lérigneux.
(S/E) Go round the church to the right and take the small flight of steps to reach the D113-2 towards Montbrison. Reach the cemetery.
(1) Leave the D113-2 and turn left towards Essertines. At the next junction, keep right and continue until you reach a cross.
(2) Turn left before the cross and continue. Pass the junction leading to the hamlet of La Loge and then come to another junction of paths.
(3) Take the path on the right to the hamlet of Fougerolles.
(4) Turn right onto the tarmac road, then left onto a dirt track towards Lérigneux. Take thesecond left into the pine forest and cross the D113-2 with care.
(5) Cross the River Cotayet and arrive at the hamlet of Chamblanc Sud.
(6) Turn right, then cross the D44 with care. After passing through the hamlet of Frédifont, continue towards Puy de Montchaud and Viallard. Pass through the hamlet of Viallard.
(7) Turn left after the last house and the large sequoia until you reach a four-way junction. Take the right-hand path to reach the hamlet of Le Fay.
(8) Head down the road on the right towards Lérigneux. Reach the village, turn right onto Rue de La Fougère to join the D44 and return to the car park at Place des Écureuils (S/E).
