To reach the starting point in Dovézy, take the D113 towards the Col de Baracuchet and proceed to thesecond hairpin bend on the road. Park in the LPO car park.

(S/E) Cross the D113 and turn left onto a small road heading towards Grand Champs and Genêtoux. At thefirst junction, turn left onto the path which climbs gently through woodland. Just before rejoining the D113, there’s a lovely view over the hamlet of Dovézy, the village of Lérigneux and the plain.
(1) Return to the D113, follow it to the right for about fifty metres, then take the path that descends through the woodland to the left (take care when crossing the road). At the T-junction (with a shepherd's hut on the left), head uphill to the right. You’ll reach a small car park beside the D113 (the starting point for the Bard routes).
(2) Turn left onto a wide, gravelly path lined with meadows.
(3) As you reach a large clearing, turn left and head down into the woods. Ignore the paths branching off to the left. In some places, springs may make the path muddy.
(4) After about 1 km, take a stony track on the left. At the Sapet farm, there’s a lovely view of Dovézy and, in the distance, Fraisse Hill and the Pic de Chaudabry. Ignore the paths on the left and cross the bridge over the Ruisseau du Cotayet. Continue along a pretty tree-lined lane leading to the hamlet of Dovézy.
(5) At the ‘Stop’ sign, turn right onto the Chemin du Moulin, which joins the D113; follow it to the right for about fifty metres. Then turn right onto a path that descends and runs parallel to the road. At a junction, go straight on and rejoin the D113.
(6) Cross the road carefully and follow the path opposite. Head uphill, ignoring a path on the left, and reach the hamlet of Jean Faure (stone cross and lovely view over the plain).
(7) Turn right and head uphill towards a mobile phone mast. Pass to the left of the mast to return to the starting point (S/E).
