The Tour of Le Mans North

Car park at the Beauregard shopping centre (Intermarché).

(S/E) Leave the car park and turn right onto Rue Georges Duhamel. Turn right and cross Avenue Rhin et Danube to take Rue Thomas Edison opposite.
At the roundabout, continue along Rue Thomas Edison then straight on along Avenue Plessis Bourré. Cross the small park to reach Avenue Henri Pierre Klotz, cross it and then head up it to the right.

(1) Walk past the fire station. After crossing over Avenue du Général Patton, and level with the sports grounds on the left, cross the avenue again to take the steps on the right, which lead you to the front of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts.

(2) Turn left onto Rue Désiré Bourneville, then right to enter the small park between the houses. Follow the path to the wooden signs and take the path on the left. Cross Rue Réaumur and continue straight ahead. Cross a second street and continue straight ahead. When you reach Route de Degré, turn left and stay on the left-hand pavement; go straight on along the footpath leading to the entrance of Parc de la Cigogne.

(3) Walk to the road and turn right onto Boulevard Nature.

(4) When you reach the road, turn left, then take Boulevard Nature on the right. Continue along Boulevard Nature, following the yellow markings which lead into a housing estate. Continue along Boulevard Nature to the left via Chemin de la Mare Noire, then left again via Rue de la Corne.
On leaving the village of La Chapelle Saint-Aubin, turn right onto Boulevard Nature (take care when crossing the RD245). Follow Boulevard Nature (Chemin de Beauchêne) to the centre of Saint-Christophe.

(5) Turn left into the car park running alongside the RD304. At the pylon, turn right onto Chemin de Bel Air. When you reach Les Houssais, before the houses, turn right towards Les Vignes and join Route de Palluau. Follow this road, turning left.

(6) Turn left immediately after the level crossing, then follow Chemin des Vignes to the entrance of the Elyssa complex.

(7) Continue along the road, then go under the road bridge on the left. Follow the railway line. When you reach the roundabout, turn immediately right and walk down the pavement overlooking the road. Go under the railway bridge and, at the roundabout, turn left into the Auchan staff car park.

(8) Cross the car park and, at the exit, turn right onto Rue de la Rivière.

(9) At the Mie Caline sign, turn left onto Chemin des Moulins aux Moines. At the roundabout, continue left along Rue Charles Sauria until you reach a second roundabout.

(10) At the Kéria Luminaires sign, turn left onto Parc Manceau. Walk past the Castorama sign and take the path leading downhill (panoramic view). Stay on the path on the right and go under the ring road bridge. After the bridge, take the steps on the right and head towards Parc de la Madeleine.
At the park exit, turn right onto Rue Georges Duhamel, which takes you back to the starting point (S/E).
