From Coulaines, take Rue du Stade Georges Bollenger Stragier. Park at the stadium of the same name.
(S/E) With your back to the sports centre, turn left and follow the path running alongside the road for 200 m. Turn right onto Chemin de Bourg de Laîche. 100 m further on, at the Y-junction, turn right onto a pleasant, undulating walk. Cross a small wooden bridge. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the houses at Lillandrie, then keep left onto the Route de l’Arpent to join the Chemin de Prionde.
(1) Turn right to walk past the Croisettes prison, fields and meadows, before joining a sunken lane on the right, then a second one on the left. Note the many hollow trees. Take note of the old priory before reaching the road.
(2) Turn right and follow the road for 400 m until you reach the first path on the left.
(3) Follow this track. Note the many hollow trees. Continue straight on for 300 m and, at the junction, take the track on the left then turn right. Continue straight on along Chemin du Monnet until you reach the junction of three roads and a track.
(4) Carry on straight ahead after crossing the road. Take the small footpath that continues from the track. Turn right at the first track, following Boulevard Nature. Then turn left and then right again at the houses at La Bodinière. You’ll come to another crossroads with four paths, including Chemin de Boisgard.
(5) Leave Boulevard Nature and turn right onto this track. Pass by the Le Clos Saint-Maurice stables. Keep to the right on the first track, then turn left to return to the starting point via Route du Vol de Monnet. The car park (S/E) is 200 metres away.
