To start, go to the car park of the laundrette next to Super U located on the ring road (Boulevard du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny) in the direction of Coulaines-Paris, coming from the Alençon or Laval road.
Take the "Bois du Breuil - Route de la Pointe" exit just before the Coulaines exit.
(S/E) From the car park, take the path that goes down to the right, Chemin de la Pointe. At the end of this path, facing a small lake, turn right and follow the path that first turns right then left, runs along the ring road and leads to the T-junction with Rue de la Rivière.
(1) Turn right and go under the ring road bridge.
(2) Immediately turn left onto Chemin de Pré Long, which will take you to the banks of the Sarthe. Turn right to walk along the river (orange signs).
Walk along the playground on Chemin les Hommées, then a little further on, continue along Promenade du Dôme and pass the picnic area.
(3) Continue straight ahead along the Sarthe to reach the chain ferry, which you can use to cross the river, depending on the season. Continue straight ahead along the Sarthe.
(5) On the other side of the river, you can discover the Moulin aux Moines; continue along the riverbank.
(6) After passing the shopping centre on the other side of the river, leave the river and turn right onto Promenade de la Prée de Saint-Pavace, where you will find trees planted in honour of children born in the municipality between 2009 and 2015.
At the end of this promenade, turn left onto Chemin de la Garenne to reach Rue des Caillères.
(7) Go through the gate to cross this street and take Chemin des Haillonnières opposite. Go around the sports fields on the right, then go straight on at the junction with Rue du Petit Vignard to enter the housing estate. At the end of the street, continue along the path. Turn right, then immediately left to reach Rue de la Charmille.
(8) Turn right. Before the turning area at the end of the cul-de-sac, take the lane on the left to reach the church. Opposite the church entrance, cross Rue des Caillères and follow Rue de la Rivière opposite. At the start of the left-hand bend, leave this street and continue straight ahead to reach the Sarthe riverside walk.
(3) Turn left and retrace your steps.
(2) Make a right-left turn to enter Chemin du Champ de Devant, which runs alongside the ring road. At the end of this road, keep to the right and continue along the road until you reach the stop sign on Route des Coulaines. Turn right, cross the bridge over the ring road and return to your parking space on the right (S/E).
