Park in the car park of the Church of Saint-Cieux in Lancieux.
(S/E) Walk past the main porch of the building and turn left onto Rue de l’Église. After 200 m, at the roundabout, turn right onto Rue de la Plage, which leads to Saint-Sieuc Beach.
Depending on how busy it is with tourists, you can walk past the beach huts, where you should take the first set of steps to join Boulevard de la Mer (route).
(1) It follows the coastline and joins theGR® 34 trail before Pointe de Buglais.
(2) Follow the coastal path to reach Briantais Beach.
(3) There, you will need to leave the path and head down to the beach. Walk along the beach until you reach its end, where you will find the path, the entrance to which is marked by a post (with a yellow marker).
The path goes round Tertre Corlieu and descends to a boat launch. Walk up the path for 10 metres and rejoin the path on the right.
(4) At the fork, there are two possible paths. Take the one on the left, leaving the shore, to enter the grassy countryside.
(5) The path joins a gravel track that climbs to the right and leads onto the D786.
(6) Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and follow Rue de Bodard straight ahead. At the second junction, take the road on your left. The road curves and, after 150 m, opens out to the right onto Chemin des Poissonniers, lined with tall oak trees.
(7) Follow it all the way to the end. It leads to the village of Lancieux via Rue de Daligois.
(8) Follow this street to the left and continue along Rue de la Frottrais until you reach the junction with Rue Henri Samson (note the 16th-century Croix de Cohinlac at the corner of the street), where you should turn left. It crosses Rue Nationale and leads to Rue du Centre. Follow Rue de l’Église to return to the car park (S/E).
