Parking is available near the Milk Bouse farm, close to a signpost.
The first part of the hike to the Suet hut is marked with green signs and occasional red paint marks.
(S/E) Go behind the farm, cross the barrier and after a few metres, go up the meadow on the right towards the forest.
(1) At the signpost, turn right and follow the path uphill.
(2) After 1 km, you will come to a viewpoint, which is a round trip. Ignore the path that descends to the right and continue straight ahead. Shortly afterwards, the climb becomes steeper.
(3) At an altitude of 1,420 metres, leave the path on the right and continue climbing to the Suet hut.
(4) Take the path to the right of the hut, which leads to the summit of Le Suet (marked with red paint dots on the rocks).
(5) Return to the hut via the same path.
(4) Take the path on the right that leads to Cerisset (marked with occasional signs and blue paint dots). This path remains fairly level for quite a long time before descending steeply to Cerisset.
(6) Turn left towards the south-east and descend quickly.
(7) At an altitude of around 1,220 metres, it is best to take a path on the left that leads to Plan de Forgeassoud, avoiding the descent on the carriage road.
(1) Turn right to descend the meadow, then left at the bottom of it to return to the start (S/E).
