Le Sarronvau

Park in the centre of the village of Buchey, next to the town hall.

(S/E)Head north, following Rue de l'Aubépine (D203). On leaving the village, turn right onto a farm track which continues northwards and forms part of the GR®703. Follow this wide white track for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction with another farm track which crosses it at a right angle.

(1) Cross this white track and continue straight ahead along a forest track, passing under a high-voltage power line. Reach a T-junction, turn left, then, at the next junction, turn right, continuing to follow the GR®703 markings. Descend and arrive at a crossroads.

(2) Turn right, leaving the GR®, and head towards a clearing.

(3) At the southern end of the clearing, follow the path opposite, still heading south, pass a section on the right and, at the next junction, turn right. Stay on the main path for about 2.5 km, until you reach a dirt track.

(4) Follow this track, known as Chemin du Val Leloup, until it joins the D233, then continue left towards Harricourt. Before reaching the town hall, turn right onto the RD239 to reach the church.

(5) Follow the RD239 to Biernes. After the church, turn right onto Rue de la Mairie and continue to the village exit.

(6) After the last building, at the three-way junction, take the right-hand track called Chemin de Buchey. Follow it for about 2.5 km to reach the junction with a wide white track and rejoin the GR®703.

(7) Turn right and return to the car park next to the town hall (S/E).
