Departure from the church square in Saint-Pair-sur-Mer.
(S/E) Head towards the sea and the sea wall, which you will take on your left.
(1) At the end of the sea wall, walk up Rue de Scissy to the Sainte-Anne Chapel, where you can take a look around. There are often exhibitions, especially in summer. Turn right into the street. Follow this street to the foot of the hill.
(2) Turn right, then take the second path up on the left (GR®) to return to the street that climbs uphill, then turn right. Almost at the top, turn right into the cul-de-sac to take a path above a cliff, where you will have a beautiful view of the beach and the mouth of the Thar. Return to the car park at the mouth of the river.
(3) At the end, cross the D911 on the pedestrian crossing and take the small street opposite, then immediately turn right onto Chemin de Beausoleil (formerly Catteville).
(4) When you reach a road, turn sharply left to take the path that goes uphill. Follow this path, which offers a beautiful view of Granville and the large beaches of Mont Saint-Michel Bay.
(5) At the next intersection, go straight ahead between the houses; there is a path at the very end... Follow it (GR°°®°) and you will come out onto a road.
(6) At the road, turn left and then immediately right. This narrow road is in poor condition and very quiet. At the first intersection, turn left onto a similar path. After about 100 metres, go through the hedge on the right and continue across a car park until you reach the D309 road.
(7) Cross it and continue straight ahead on the lawn. This is the small passageway in the commercial area. Continue straight ahead through the various small streets until you reach a T-junction.
(8) Turn left onto the D151. The road curves to the right. At the curve, take the very small road on the right, which will take you back to the countryside, even though you are still close to the main road. Follow this path for a while; it turns 90° to the left and then joins the cemetery of Saint-Pair-sur-Mer. Continue past it for about a hundred metres.
(9) Continue straight ahead on Rue Saint-Michel. This will take you back to the church of Saint-Pair-sur-Mer (S/E).
