(2) At the small car park, take the path on the right under the conifers; it climbs through the undergrowth amid rocky outcrops. At the clearing (Notre-Dame-de-la-Montagne calvary on the left), climb the path on the right towards Rocher Saint-Vincent (orientation table, climbing, ruins of the Pyramont Castle tower, view of the Alps at Mont Beuvray in the Morvan, the Chaîne des Puys). Follow the path through the woods, turning left then right, passing a field on your left then a path on your right.

(4) At the crossroads, descend to the right. View of La-Loge-des-Gardes, Les Pierres du Jour, Les Bois des Fournets and La Barre, Les Puys de Montoncel and Le Snidre. Follow the road opposite.
(5) After the crossroads, take the first path on the right.
(6) At the crossroads, turn right, view of the Sichon valley and Rocher Saint-Vincent. At the fork, at the edge of the woods, go down to the right. Enter the coniferous forest.
(7) At the Col du Beaulouis (border between Allier/Loire and Auvergne/Rhône-Alpes), cross the D995 departmental road, head towards the hamlet of Les Pion and, 20 metres further on, follow the path on the right to Lavoine and arrive at the Place de l'Église (S/E).
