Marker 191 is not very visible; it is before the chapel, on the right-hand side as you head towards it, slightly hidden by vegetation
(S/E) From the Saint-Antoine Chapel (marker 191), descend easily between the hedges of deciduous trees towards the La Barlatte torrent (markers 192 and 193).
Turn left at marker 193 and climb slightly to reach a ravine of black marl.
(1) The path that crosses it is sometimes eroded and a handrail makes it easier to pass, but the handrail no longer exists as of 21 August 2015. A final descent into the forest leads to the Moulin de la Barlatte (1080m).
(2) After visiting the building (marker 196) and its various mechanisms (wooden turbine, millstones, buckets, sieve, flour chest, etc.), climb among the Scots pines of the Roumégier wood via a winding path that leads to the canal (marker 197).
(3) On the right, take a round trip along the canal, which will take you 1.5 km to the Saucha Négra Gorges and the water intake on the Barlatte.
(4). Caution! Despite the fairly wide path, some dizzying passages require great vigilance, especially when children are present.
(3) Return to marker 197, continue right uphill through the Roumégier woods to quickly reach the Tourres trail (marker 198). Leave this trail and continue straight ahead. The path then makes a wide right turn and climbs in switchbacks. Continue for about 500 m after these switchbacks to marker 201.
(5) Turn left at marker 201, onto theGR®52A, towards Châteauneuf and descend for about 2 km to reach the starting point, the Chapelle Saint-Antoine
We had a wonderful time!
