The Moulin de la Barlatte long version
Starting from Châteauneuf-d'Entraunes (near Valberg), this hike offers plenty to discover: a picturesque village, an old wheat mill (open to visitors in summer), impressive gorges... Sounds good, doesn't it?
Crêtes du Bauroux
A beautiful and pleasant hike, without any particular difficulty, dotted with historic sites and varied landscapes: rocky terrain, woodland and plains. You won’t be bored for a minute and, as a grand finale, a breathtaking 360° panorama from the highest point.
The Fort du Pic Charvet from Tournefort
A pleasant hike with no major difficulties, featuring a superb ridge walk and, as a reward, a visit to Fort Charvet. Built between 1883 and 1890, this fort occupies a rocky promontory overlooking the confluence of the Tinée and Var rivers.
The giant fir trees of Maïris and the barns of Suorcas
In the heart of the magnificent Turini Forest (3,500 hectares), the pass of the same name (1,674 metres) marks the climatic boundary between the Mediterranean hinterland of Nice and the mountainous "high country".
Olive groves give way to fir, beech and larch forests, which are ablaze with colour in autumn.
Throughout this loop, you will enjoy superb views of the entire region, including the Mounier, the Cime du Diable and the Vallon de la Maïris.
Cime de Baudon via the Col de la Madone de Gorbio
A short hike in terms of distance but a great one for the variety of paths and the breathtaking view once you reach the summit!
Planfaé Stream
Useful information: until further notice, swimming and canyoning are prohibited under a local by-law, with fines applicable. Signs are posted at the start of the walk.
A short walk or mini-hike, mostly through woodland, which will take you to the start of the Planfaé canyoning route; it’s not difficult, even though the start is steep and in full sun.
