The Marais Blanc and La Banche starting from Quercourt.

Departure from Quercout. Parking available on Rue du Vivrais.

(S/E) Take Rue du Vivrais and follow the Canal de la Blanche on your right. Further on, the road veers away from the canal. Continue straight ahead until you reach a triangular crossroads.

(1) Turn left and continue north-east on the road. Further on, ignore a road on the right and join the D282.

(2) Cross this road carefully and continue along the small road opposite. Cross a small bridge over the River Banche.

(3) Immediately after the bridge, take a grassy path on the left. Follow the river on your left until you reach a small road.

(4) Follow the road to the right and cross the hamlet of Les Murailles. Follow the river on your left until you reach the next bridge.

(5) Cross the river and turn left on the other side. Walk along the Banche for a long time. Further on, the path veers away from it, then turns left to reach a place called La Goutte.

(6) Then turn left and cross the Banche again. Ignore a street on the right and pass at the foot of a silo.

(7) At the three-way junction (cross), turn left. You will come out onto the D282. Follow it to the right until the next intersection, in the hamlet of La Mulotais.

(8) Then turn left towards Petite Mulotais. After about 200 m, after the last house, take a semi-cobblestone path on the right. Join a road and follow it to the right.

(9) At the crossroads shortly afterwards, turn left. At the next crossroads, at a place called Le Bouillon, turn right, passing a farmhouse on your left and, further on, a transformer on your right.

(10) You will come out onto the D82; follow it to the left. Pass through the hamlets of Le Grand Frouville and then Le Portail.

(11) At the three-way junction, keep left and stay on the D82. Ignore another road coming from the right and continue straight ahead.

(12) Take the first road on the left, towards La Helandasi/Vienne/La Banche. After about 300 m, leave the road and cross the river to take a path on the left. Follow the river on your left until you reach the next bridge, at a place called Vienne.

(13) Then take the road on the right to return to the starting point (S/E).
