Along the canals south of Kembs

Park in the car park near the turbine roundabout in Kembs.

(S/E) On leaving the car park, head left. Cross the road (Rue de Rosenau) and walk under the trees towards Rosenau, following a dirt track. Walk alongside the hydroelectric power station’s perimeter wall and, at the small car park, take the signposted forest path on the right.

(1) Cross the bridge over the Ruisseau de Rosenau, then turn right towards Rosenau along the stream (dirt track between the stream and the Grand Canal d’Alsace). Continue for about 3.5 km to the second bridge over the Ruisseau de Rosenau.

(2) Take this bridge on the right, go up the steps, turn left and arrive at the roundabout on the outskirts of Rosenau. Go round it on the right and continue along the^{first road} on the right, Rue du Commandant Arnould.

(3) Almost immediately, turn right into Rue du Colonel de l'Épinay and continue straight on along Rue de Huningue.

(4) Turn left into Rue du Rhin and continue straight on until you reach Rue du Village Neuf D21.III.

(5) Turn right onto this street and head north.

(6) At the Crédit Mutuel, turn left onto Rue de Savigneux, continue straight ahead and cross the bridge over the Canal de Huningue.

(7) Turn right and follow the towpath north-west (Kembs).

(8) Cross the bridge on the right, go past the canal and, via a short circular loop, head to the car park near the turbine roundabout (S/E).
