The hike starts at the top of the village just before the pelota court. There is a small sign for Larla.
(S/E) Take the small road perpendicular to the square facing west (small sign for Larla). Follow it until you reach a large right-hand bend
(1) Leave the road and take the path opposite (gate). Follow a stream on the right-hand side until you reach the first crossroads (elevation 257).
(2) Take the path that climbs to the right. Shortly after, a trail through the ferns branches off straight ahead and provides a shortcut. Once you rejoin the path next to a ruin, turn right until you reach the next loop.
(3) Leave the path that goes straight ahead and follow the loop to the left. The slope becomes much steeper. The path passes between a first row of trees and then a second. You will see a building on the right, which you will pass.
(4) A yellow sign indicates to go straight up. Do not follow it, but take a small path on the right and join a wide path coming from the left.
(5) Take it on the right. You are now on the Sentier de Fer du Larla. Several signs explain the history of ore extraction and transport. This wide path follows a contour line for quite a long time. At the end, take a small dirt track that branches off to the left and joins an unnamed pass (elevation 466).
(6) A track arrives from Bidarray opposite. Keep to the far left. Initially tarmac, it becomes stony and climbs steadily, with a hut in sight. Join it.
(7) Leave the track and climb south-east through the grass, following the ridge. You will come to a flat area (elevation 663). The grassy path veers right, south-south-west, to the summit.
(8) Look for the start of a path heading south-east. Follow it to a fork. Take the right-hand path and rejoin the track below, level with a barn.
(9) Follow this track to the left. At the next fork, turn right. Pass Harotzaeneko Borda and continue for about 300 m.
(10) At a barn, turn left. Continue along this path which, at an altitude of 446 metres, goes around a meadow with a barn. Leave a yellow signpost that branches off to the left and go straight ahead. Continue for 1.5 km until you reach a road.
(11). Turn left and immediately after the next fork, take the road that climbs to the left and follow it to the village car park (S/E).
