Park in Belmont, in the Rue Principale car park, near the glass recycling bins.
(S/E) Follow the Club Vosgien's yellow triangle markings. Take the main street eastwards, pass the town hall and continue straight ahead.
(1) At the Y-junction, continue along the road on the left (Rue Principale then Rue des Quatre Maisons) and keep going straight ahead to cross the hamlet and join the D414.
(2) Follow the road to the right to cross the Serva ski resort.
(3) Take the path on the left between the small chapel and the high mountain police station, marked with a red disc.
(4) Cross the road (D214) at the car park and descend opposite on the path marked with a red disc until you reach the intersection with the path marked with a blue rectangle (GR®531).
(5) Follow the blue rectangle markings on the right.
(6) Pass close to the source of the Andlau (on your left) and continue to the Champ du Feu hill. Follow the road to the tower.
(7) Cross the crossroads and take the path on the right leading down to the Col de la Charbonnière, following the blue rectangle markings and then the yellow cross markings.
(8) At the pass, descend to the right onto the D57 road for about 500 metres, then take the path marked with a yellow cross on the left. Then follow the Bottelets forest road to the D214. Continue 150 metres to the right along the road, ignoring the Route Forestière de l'Étoile on your right.
(9) Turn right towards Haut Lachamp and the ruins of Château de la Roche.
(10) At the edge of the forest, turn right (there are no markings here, just a small, slightly faded yellow cross on the rock before the water catchment). Descend the steep slope on the right through the broom to reach the village of Bellefosse.
(11) At the crossroads, follow the second road on your right, marked with a blue cross. At the last houses, don't miss the path on your left that will take you to Belmont. Continue to the D57.
(12) Cross the road and continue climbing towards the village to return to your starting point (S/E).
