Description of the walk

Park at Saint-Roch Church in Vallenay.

(S/E) With your back to the church, head opposite along Rue du Château de Bigny, then turn right onto the main road, Route des Four. Immediately turn left onto Rue de la Source. Continue straight on until you reach the hamlet of La Prairie.
(1) Head left towards the hamlet of La Couture and carry on straight ahead, then cross a small wood.

(2) At the crossroads, carry on straight ahead to walk alongside the Bois de la Grange.

(3) When you come out onto the road, turn left onto a small road towards Le Crot, cross the Ruisseau le Trian, then turn right towards the hamlet of Les Tuiles.

(4) At the hamlet, immediately take the wide grassy path on the left and continue to a crossroads at the 175-metre mark.

(5) At the junction, take the small path on the left, cross a road (marked by a cross) and carry on straight ahead to the hamlet of La Madeleine (Le Jacquin snail farm).
