Depart from the car park at Brosville Town Hall.
Head left along the Town Hall via a tarmac lane, then turn right onto a small bridge over the Iton.
When you reach the road (Rue des Roches), turn right until you reach the next crossroads.
(1) Turn left onto a path that climbs up to the forest via theGR®222.
Ignore a path on the right through the fields and continue into the forest. Ignore two more paths on the right and pass the horse shelter.
(2) Leave theGR®222and take a path on the right, continue straight ahead until you reach a tarmac road where you turn left and then left again 50 metres further on to re-enter the forest and rejoin theGR®222.
Turn right as you descend. The path curves and then joins a track coming from the right. Continue straight ahead until you reach the first houses.
(3) About 50 metres before the tarmac road, turn right, go back up into the forest and, when you reach the top at the intersection, turn left.
After 400 metres, ignore a path on the left and continue for another 100 metres.
(4) Once you can see the edge of the forest, turn right onto a fairly steep path, then right again and keep left at the next intersection to reach a crossroads.
(5) Turn left and go uphill, ignoring two paths on the left. Just before leaving the forest, turn left onto the path that goes uphill and leads to the tarmac road.
(6) Continue to the left, passing a Norman farmhouse with an outbuilding where you can admire a bread oven. Ignore the next path on the left and, upon entering the forest, take the first path on the right. Continue straight ahead, ignoring all the paths you cross, and pass under the high-voltage power line to reach a path markedGR®26.
(7) Turn left immediately and continue straight ahead, ignoring all other paths, until you pass a Christmas tree farm after about 2 km. Continue straight ahead, ignoring the paths that branch off and a fork to the right of the GR®. Keep to your left as you continue downhill and return to a tarmac road.
(8) Continue to the left and arrive at Les Roches. Turn right, passing over the Iton, then, when you reach the retirement home, turn left towards the car park, which leads to a small path that will take you back to the starting point.
