Reach Ceillac via the D60 from the Maison du Roi crossroads. Park near the Baladins Lodge.
(S/E) Then cross Ceillac and arrive at the church square.
(1) Turn right onto theGR®5-58, which heads northeast. Leave the track that goes into the Cristillan valley and turn left onto the path (GR® sign). Join the upper track and continue to the hamlet of Le Villard.
(2) Take thePR® (yellow markings) on the left where a sign indicates La Clapière. This slightly uphill path leads to theGR®58at an altitude of 2014 metres.
(3) Take theGR® trail on the right towards Col de Bramousse. Begin an easy climb through alpine pastures to reach the pass.
(4). Take the path on the right, leaving theGR®, which leads to the Chambrettes ridge. You will reach a crossroads.
At the first crossroads, keep right to reach the viewpoint.
(5). Return via the same route until you reach the 2014 crossroads.
(3) Stay on theGR® to descend steeply into the forest and reach the western district of Ceillac (Le Queyras).
Stay on theGR® trail which runs alongside the stream, reaching the Sainte-Cécile church next to the cemetery.
(6) Take the road on the left to return to Ceillac and then to the car park (S/E).
