Nice start, well signposted, but the last two kilometres are on an unpleasant local road with some traffic. This wasn't planned and was an unpleasant surprise. Not great end to the walk

An easy route along gravel paths – so no mud – and scenery stretching as far as the eye can see, dotted with beautiful Gascon houses: a real treat!

A lovely, easy route combining stony paths, roads and grassy tracks, suitable for walking in wet weather, with few muddy sections… and views of the Pyrenees on a clear day…
