Departure from the car park at Saint-Lary church.
(S/E) Go around the church and take the path that climbs up to the upper village. A quick visit to the castle is a must.
Then turn right onto Route de Castillon until you reach theGRP® trail junction.
(1) Turn right (red and yellow markings). Stay on this stone path until you reach La Julian (beekeeper). Take the dirt track that runs alongside the house and continues on to the Haubéou farm, going around it. You will arrive on Route de Larrama.
(2) Turn right, leaving theGRP®. Continue along Route de Larrama until you reach a path that branches off to the right.
(3) Turn right and stay on this forest track until the end (elevation 225), then turn right and then left. Stay on this path until you reach the junction with the D 930 road.
(4) Go straight ahead. Take care when crossing this fairly busy road. Pass by the houses in the hamlet of Les Gougines. Cross the river, the Loustère. At the T-junction, turn right and continue to the next crossroads before the Le Mousson farm.
(5) Turn left, continue along this dirt track uphill and go around the Gisquet estate.
The road turns into a stone path and veers to the right. Stay on this road and pass the private road on the right that leads to Le Bousquet. Continue to the next crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto Chemin Cousteau. Stay on this downhill path. Pass in front of Auberge Cousteau and continue downhill. Cross La Loustère stream again and reach the crossroads. Turn left and continue to the junction with the D 930 road. Turn left and carefully follow the D 930 for a few metres.
(7) Cross the road, take the path opposite and continue along this path to the church of Saint-Lary (S/E).
