Start at the car park behind the town hall.
(S/E) Turn left onto Rue du Parc, then right onto Rue des Écoles and left onto Rue de Verduzan. At the junction with Rue de l’Essor, turn left onto an old railway line.
(1) Continue along this track for about 1 km. At the junction with the D150A road, turn left, cross the D150 road with care and take the path opposite. Walk alongside the sports complex until you reach the crossroads and turn right. Follow this path to the hamlet known as Le Moulin de Doat. Turn left and cross the bridge over the Auloue. After the bridge, turn right and take the path that runs alongside the Auloue.
(2) Follow the Auloue river to the pumping station. Cross the D930 road (caution: fairly heavy traffic). Take the path leading to the Fontaine Coulom then turn left.
(3) Follow the botanical trail as it winds its way uphill through the woods to the hamlet of Le Vieux Castéra. Walk around the church until you reach the three-way junction. Turn left.
(4) Continue along this path and, at the next junction, turn left; then, about 200 m further on, take the path branching off to the right. Stay on this path until you reach the bottom of the hill, then turn right and follow this path to the junction with a tarmac road. Turn left.
(5) Walk through the hamlet of Peyrouau and follow the path to the junction with the D 303 road. Turn left and continue to the junction with the second track, which climbs to the right. Turn right.
(6) Walk through the hamlet of Mounouat and take the path that heads downhill and leads to a tarmac road. Continue to the bridge over the Ruisseau de Mounouat. After the bridge, turn right.
(7) Continue along this path, cross Rue du Lac and take Promenade de l’Auloue opposite until you reach Rue du 8 Mai on the left. Turn into this street, continue to Avenue des Thermes, turn right and head towards the town hall. Take Rue du Parc to the car park at the rear of the town hall (S/E).
